It seems the Pastors independent spirit and outspokenness about a registered sex offender teaching Tae Kwon Do to young children put him on a collision course with Housing Authority Administrators. The situation deteriorated to the point that Housing Authority personal called police not on the sex offender, but on the Pastor to eject him from Authority property but this is disputed by local police.
I find the treatment of this Pastor despicable. The Housing Authority has always had a reputation for using heavy handed tactics against its residents and running a quasi police state on its territory. Members of its staff which are really just one extended family have been the focus of both local and federal investigation into Federal HUD and HATCH act violations. Residents have complained about being forced to sign voting petitions and being told what parties to join and who to vote for. Residents who show the slightest hesitation has been evicted. These tactics are 
very similar to voter fraud violations in Troy Public housing.

The Saratoga Housing Authority has been run like a private fiefdom for too long and its time it is cleaned up once and for all.
In case your wondering who works there and what their paid as a public service I will give last years salaries and remember this year is much higher.

I don't think its fair what the saratoga housing authority has done to the residents of the terrace. Pastor John , and his wife have done many good things for our community. I appreciated so very much the kindness that he has done. He has done many good things for us, and I don't understand at all why he was taken from us. This guy that the saratoga housing authority let on their property is wrong. He has'nt done anything positive, or good for the residents at the terraces. Pastor John has done many good things for us, and now we don't have him anymore.I very much appreciated being able to go to church, and to have picnics. Also his devotion to still continue to provide food to the residents here at the terraces is so amazing
For the love of God is the whole Hawthorne family on the payroll even Lloyd is a brother in law is the family dog the official mascot?
The Terrace office people are a bunch of idiots! They get rid of thr boy scouts. They get rid of the girl scouts. Now they get rid of a Pastor who has helped thousands of people with food bank throughout area. Brillant!
This deserves attention from the city fathers. Here is a man of God ,doing good work in providing for those that are in need being shut out of the Terraces by the housing authority. Why would they choose to support a convicted sex offender over a man of God who is helping the people living in the Housing Authoities building??? If the police want to do something positive they should keep an eye on this felon and leave the Pastor alone.May God bless you Pastor ,keep up the great work .
Pastor John still passes out free food for the terraces. Every tuesday from 4 -5:30pm. on East Fenlon Street. Anyone should visit just to say hello or to help. He continues to provide help to all people in need including Housing Authority residents and employees. I will be there helping like always and encourage all to join us. Only in Jefferson terrace would they keep a kick boxing sex offender and throwout a man of God.
WHY IS THE SEX OFFENDER IN QUESTION HAS A FULL GYM AT STONEQUIST? WE FEEL UNSAFE HERE WHEN THAT GUY IS IN OUR BUILDING.
Why not dispose of the Saratoga Housing Authority and bulldoze all the properties it manages.
Isn't that what Troy and Schenectady are for?
Nothing drags a neigborhood down faster than a bunch of welfare rats.
The salaries of the housing Authority employees gets signed off by the Mayor annually. It is time for a wage freeze!!!!!!!!!!!!
