Well now that the dust has settled after the massive defeat of the DFC gang on Tuesday I will make a few observations. I found the City Council meeting Wednesday to be a marvelous display of mixed human emotions. Ivins was tired and looked a little hung over; clearly he had been celebrating his come from behind win the night before. Johnson was as always impeccably dressed and had a relaxed swagger and appeared ready to take on the difficult challenges that lie ahead. Kim was restrained and a little subdued, which was a first for him at the City Council table. Skippy was almost gleeful playing footsie with his buddy Ron while he laughed and joked with the somber Kim. One can only wonder who Skippy will turn to after the next three council meetings when Kim will no longer be there to help him turn on his laptop. Only a man with no honour and principles can campaign with Kim on a corner of Broadway one minute than slap Johnson on the back the next.

Seems that after the losers make their self loathing concession speeches and Yepsen took the microphone the embittered remnant of the DFC in unison turned their back on the popular Yepsen and left the building. What happened next is still up for debate? Someone confronted the angry Kim who was accompanied by disgraced ex mayor, life coach and hot babe of the month on MATCH.COM Val Keehn about there rude behavior. heated augment ensured. hmmm, they're ensuring the addition of heat??? or did you mean, heated argument ensued. you actually spelled augment, which means to add, and ensure correctly, but used them wrongly. * If the person who wrote the last sentence were (subjunctive form!) were is (subject-verb agreement!) actually a grammar Grammar Nazi (Proper name, not adjective!), (s)he'd then he or she would (Proper syntax!) have known to not put that useless apostrophe in there that phrase (Ambiguous reference!). John and co.keep up the good work,as far as little skippy goes..well the many Republicans I've talked to don't want much to do with him,he's careless spending in his first year in office is one of the major reasons there'll be lay offs.The local RAG is also covering up the big story in DPW,four truck drivers have lost their CDL licsenses and won't be able to drive the big trucks this winter,I guess the lose of 4 truck drivers in DPW is not news.Random drug testing is also a thing of the past.This should be some winter and also the beginning of the end of the circus enviroment that exist in DPW..Maxstein
Finneran and Co. has already sat down with Skippy to coerce him into the Democratic fold as a toe hold onto the next Council table. Could you just picture her sitting behind him at a Council meeting?
If I was Skippy I'd be leary of Finneran as my Deputy,she's the "BLACK WIDOW" of deputies she killed VAL and Ron,but then again she'd fit right in with all those other no it alls,can she play an organ grinder,that could be the deal clincher.Hows'she look in a leash...honest question? Kim, realizing that their cover was being blown, tried to distract the gentleman with an offer to buy him a beer.
The fella reacted by saying: "No thanks, you'll end up covering that with your saliva, too! I just wanna talk to Val here about what she's doing after this party breaks up."
That's when all hell broke loose.
Just another example of the classless DFC mob doing their thing.
