Today being a slow news day as I hear Kim and his buddy Bernstein {Andy Pandy as we like to call him because he always panders to the DFC} are down in a deep bunker in the bowels of City Hall as they plot damage control for Kim’s obscenity laced tirade at the Public Library. I would like to take a moment to talk about this blog and blogging in general. I am an accidental blogger I really had nether the expertise or the proper educational background to create grammatically well-formed sentences must less articles. But necessity is the father of invention so with the help of some friends or as the Saratogian would call them co-conspirators and a friendly server and an acquaintance in Thailand this blog was created.
This blog was created to cut through the bullshit and get to the truth. In that, I believe we have been successful. Many people have asked why I am so hard on the Saratogian and in a word they suck .My intellectual mentor just frowned at me but my roots are in Jefferson Terrace not 5th Ave so my rough edges are who I am. I remember a little over two years ago when the triple spaced headlined above the fold in the Saratogian a week before the election panned “MC’TYGUE DUMPS HUMAN WASTE”. That ladies and gentleman was the day the idea of this blog was born. A city devoid of an honest and unbiased newspaper is a city that longs for the truth a city that deserves the truth and demands the truth. So maybe I should have called this blog the bullshit stops here. Anyway that is the only way to explain the incredible number of hits this blog receives daily.
But understanding that I have my own prejudices and political favorites you should also know that anybody can and some have submitted your own articles for posting. You name is not required and unlike Bernstein I will not tract your IP address in any clumsy attempt to unmask your identity as I unlike Bernstein have better thing to do.
As far as the future of this blog? We’re not going anywhere. I plan on being just as hard on the Republicans as I was on DFC. Are you listening Skippy? Wirth will get a free pass for a time because he had the load of shit dumped on his lap. My prediction is that these layoff will be just the beginning as no parking revenue will be received this year. I really don’t blame this on Ivins he is doing as best as possible. I word of advice to the Unions “givebacks”

At Xmas time when we were kids,
we were bloody poor,

Everyone loved Xmas dinner,

We'd leave a six pack for Santa
and he always drank it quick,

But all in all we had fun,
and lot & lots of cheer,
Now I can't wait till I've got kids....

Yesterday in city hall there was a dust up with Skippy and the city attorney. Ron Kim advised Skippy to file (assault and battery ) charges. He also advised a civil suit. each elected official and their deputies are privy to this information. The public has the right to know.
