Commissioner of Public Works Skip Scirocco released the annual DPW Holiday Greeting Card that was created by his very talented rank and file workers. Scirocco unveiled the Holiday Greeting Card and explained it was a photo of the snow sculpture that was created by Department laborers to express their appreciation to the City Council for their 2010 budget in a press conference in
Scirocco also announced that the year end cleaning of the city garage has been completed and he was pleased with the results.
Sorry folks I just needed something a little light. And remember this is a parody .There is no dpw greeting card numbnuts it’s a joke.

I have to agree with dpw on this one. Winter does suck! Driving up I 87 this afternoon was a quick reminder of that!
This is an excellent example of what is good about this blog.he makes a point with humor that is real.Many DPW workers are pissed off and let down by the city, and the cold hard facts are Skippy won't have a friend on the council come Jan 1 and his man will be thrown to the wolves. Many will be laid off and when the million and a half falls threw in paid parking income later on this year more will be shit canned.Many of these displaced workers will have little job prospects in the real world and might end up in really rough sharp.Not Skippy's favorites and cronies though there be sitting pretty.
