Well I wasn’t going to comment on this Reader's View in the daily rag, but several of you sent me e-mails asking what I thought.

Well it is a heart felt letter written by a loving brother. I have little doubt that Ron Kim is anything but a faithful husband, loving father, whose dog wages his tail at the mere mention of his name. This makes him a fine candidate for boy scout leader, but the fact my family loves me makes me no more qualified to be a surgeon than Kim’s family values make him qualified to run Public Safety.
His four years as Commissioner of Public Safety has been an unmitigated disaster for all involved. I don’t know if the man ever worker as a laborer or a service worker but I will tell you all of them feel they need more help and are overworked. Overtime is the bread and butter of the hourly worker and letting the Chiefs decide how much is needed is akin to leaving your car at Midas and telling the commission driven manager “Here buddy you’re the mechanic not me, see what my car could use and fix it, don’t worry about the cost someone else is paying for it and safety is all that matters to me.” It just won’t work.
Did you ever put yourself in your less well heeled neighbor’s shoes? Hey Volvo’s are safer than Escorts but we just can’t all afford them so don’t pass a law mandating we have to buy them.
You gave the police unrealistic expectations and left a demoralized force when your polices led to layoffs. Your message to them should have been pay cuts or jobs not sell the rec center and build a police palace. I could go on and no but the voters said it best when they rejected your hand picked successor and sent you packing by a tune of 1500 votes.
So here’s some free advice you won’t hear from your DFC cronies stay home Saturday. Leave the Democratic party go visit your brother in Virginia you’ve done enough damage for one year and my final word.
SWAT team for Saratoga? Bad idea even if it is a tourist friendly SWAT team.

The dfc has been hard at work blaming everyone but themselves. The fact their message fell on deaf hears has only reinforced their conviction that it’s the residents of Saratoga that need reeducation. They will fight for control till the bitter end. Ideological purity is much more important than winning elections. They call it “The Joy Of Defeat” The absolute knowledge that you and your group know what is best for the masses and out of this nonsense dictatorships are born.
Yes. And I was told that they are bringing in NXIVM coaches for motivational guidance and workshops as a means of "healing."
Nornmally, I would say "ah, rumors." But not when it comes to this band of misfits. Anything is posible here.

The DFC will prevail. There is not enough support on the other side to take them down. Jon Franck and Yepsen are the only people who can do it and it appears Franck will not work with the DFC and vise versa. It seems that the Sons of Anarchy are the one way to change the ship. Let's go Sons!
NXIVM always does well in times of trouble. After all if you are happy and successful what type of idiot would need a life coach? They prey on the milk toast liberal housewives who need some kind of validation for their miserable meaningless existence. So they fight for the rights of the poor for food and healthcare just as long as they don’t live in their neighborhood.

I am considered your classic tweener when it comes to these two groups. I can't bring myself to back one side or the other. I am not sure about going to this saturday meeting because I believe it will be another war and no progress at unity. Though, just the show itself could be worth the price of admission. Any ideas who will attend the meeting and are they electing new members?
