Four years ago political newcomer Ron Kim was swept into office after the nasty fallout caused by the Dwyer scandal in the old Curley administration. Tonight brought an end to that political career as former tough guy Ron Kim arrived 45 minutes late to his last scheduled City Council meeting. Looking subdued there were no public speakers to praise his leadership not a single cop or fireman appeared to thank him for fighting the good fight in there name. The Council accorded him lukewarm profunctionary thanks. The scene was much different two years ago when Mayor Keehn made her last appearance as Mayor as speaker after speaker heaped praise on Val of Arc for sacrificing herself to rid the city of 
Kim’s career is pretty much over and all but the biggest diehard Keehnacs would concede that. His name will be little more than a bedtime story mothers will use to get their children to behave. “Listen to me or Ron Kim will get you.” But the other person who has lost almost as much as Kim is Saratogian reporter Andrew Bernstein. His biased one sided reporting was little more than editorials why Kim should be the next Mayor.
Today he hit a new low when he wrote on his personal blog.
“I saw Commissioner Kim talking with "anonymous" blogger John Tighe.
I did not stay to eavesdrop, as I couldn't be less interested in whatever Tighe has to say to the Commissioner, so beyond the fact that I saw them talking, I cannot comment on the tenor of the exchange.”
In one breathtaking sentence Bernstein showed that he is a Liar for what he saw was no discussion and that he has no interest in reporting anything that might show his political idol in a bad light. Later frustrated by comments that he disagreed with, he had Kim supporters supply anonymous comments that I John Tighe am a “Racist” I love the hypocrisy of this in which he belittles this blog and its readers because of their anonymity in commenting while allowing me to be called me a racist by his anonymous cronies . You should also know that any comments by me are banned from his blog so I am unable to answer these charges even though I have offered him an opportunity to comment on anything on this blog. Well since he will find few open doors and little contacts in City Hall next year outside of Skippy who I believe will fall in behind the Republicans he might have time to pen that Kim Biography.

As far as Bernstein I think he wants disneyfication for Saratoga and he will probably name his first child for Ron and lets just hope its a Boy.

#1- The Editor of the SARATOGIAN has a son who is a card-carrying DFC*er, well, a certified "card-carrier" person. Thus, scribe Bernstein is employed/edited/paid upon the whim of that same Editor/Employer/PaycheckSigner. Hey, call me crazy, but it's the reality of "journalism." BEEN there, been fired for daring to differ with the signer of the sacred paycheck.
#2- Outgoing Public Safety Commissioner Ron Kim entered his final meeting of the Council at 7:38:10 by the Chamber clock, which is NOT "45 minutes late." His Deputy arrived somewhat earlier... but with such stealth, silence, and soft graceful steps that none noticed. Maybe 7:20. Maybe later. Accounts differ.
#3- What MATTERS MOST is the person who did NOT attend the meeting, the thoughtful woman seen regularly as she watches quietly from the rear corner near the Chamber door. Her health denied the Right of Arrogant Tardiness.
Speaking only for myself, I wish for Her all the best with all my heart. Everyone else who came or went... they should stand humbled by a citizen who has showed the decency to arrive on time, demonstrated respect for the Council, and dedicated herself to the City she loves.

Hey people - racism IS racism. If Kim were anonymous, his bizarre purpose would still receive the contempt from this community for his mixed priorities and unfortunate associations. We all grow up in mostly white communities with their usual inbreeding of elitists, bigots and humiliating degenerates who come in all colors and sizes. Stupid white people have no edge on stupid green people. What doesn’t kill you doesn’t always make one stronger.
Now the picture of the malamute is priceless as compared with the worthless newspaper reporter who can’t write the news.
Andrew ain't exactly a major player in town and it ain't like his reporting is going to be mistaken for investigative journalism. Your feud with him only gives him credibility where there is none. Let it go.
The moron Bernstein also wrote a puff piece about Saratoga serial Liar Barbara Trypaluk in his blog. You may not have any friends in the Saratogian but that’s akin to being blackballed from a sewer pumping station for all they crank out is crap everyday. Bernstein is really pissed that your web site has as many readers as his paper. The untold story here that no mainstream journalist will ever admit is that your little amateur blog might have had a serious effect on the outcome of the election and they can’t accept that. Kim’s outburst and the unfounded claims of racism just validate that. To put it simply they are afraid of you and want to stop this blog through any means possible. They have proved that very point through physical threats and character assignation.

It is with the saddest heart I pass on the following: Please join me in remembering a great icon - the veteran Korean Pillbury doughboy Ron Kim .
The Korean Pillsbury doughboy Ron Kim gave his goodbyes last night at the Saratoga City Council ,He claims he was not defeated by Scott Johnson but lost due to a yeast infection and complications from repeated pokes by hated blogger John Tighe He was 51.
Ron political career and aspirations will be buried in a lightly greased coffin.
The Council was piled high with flours .As long-time friend, Commissioner Franck delivered the eulogy, describing Doughboy Kim as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded.
Doughboy Kim rose quickly in politics , but his later career was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a very "smart" cookie, wasting much of his dough on halfbaked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times, he was still,a crusty old man,and was considered a roll model for the DFC.
Toward the end it was thought he would rise again, but alas, he was no tart.
John Tighe a racist really? Funny I was at a wedding at his house when he was best man for his friend Pete who was marrying a beautiful Korean woman. He didn't look like a racist? I know back in the seventies when black people really lived in the city John had many black friends. But when was the truth of any importance to these bastards.

Leave it to the police to shoot themselves in the foot with their 2000 dollar Glocks. First they cover-up for David Keehn in his drunken rampage at the Y.
Then they bust the Mayor’s son on some bogus charge.
Now the cops with the help of morally bankrupt Andrew Bernstein cover up for outgoing Commissioner Kim in his rampage in the Library.
And they wonder why the council is oblivious to the pain caused by 7 cops getting laid off.

Add Pastor John Rice to that list of citizens of the year. His church was ousted by The Housing Authority in favor of a sex offender. He now has taken his food bank to the streets all to help the really needy people of Saratoga. Police harassed him and even blamed the pastor for the sex offenders wife leaving him once she got wind of his real history.
Can you tell me when he goes to the Terrace and were he gives out food. I would like to talk to the man.
