Well readers of this blog will be happy to know I was not thrown out of the Saratoga Democratic Committee meeting Saturday morning at the Saratoga Public library.
That is about the only good thing I can say about the meeting.
First; BLAME for the disastrous 2009 election, well the best I could understand from Al Turkheimer chairman of the committee was there is no blame. They had great candidates and great messages. The people deep down wanted to pay higher taxes, so they could gawk in awe and amazement at our new police station. It wasn’t their fault it was your fault readers of this blog, you might be surprised to know. You who read this blog and spread it’s mistruths and confused the voters. Later when I tired to speak in the so-called transparent and open forum, Turk identified me as a “member of the press” and tried to stop me from speaking lest my evil words pollute the ears of the true believers. From what I could tell Chairman Turk was using Mao’s little red book instead of 
But speak I did, where I condemned their message as undemocratic and then politely pointed out to them the error of their ways.
The rest of the meeting was the usual bickering.
THAT WAS UNTIL I WENT TO LEAVE.
Then I was accosted by Tough guy Ron Kim.
I will give the conversation to the best of my recollection verbatim.
Ron; Hey Kasier you piece of shit motherfucker cocksucker.
Me; Ron is something wrong.
Ron;I’m not afraid of you, you piece of shit motherfucker
Me; why on earth would you be afraid of me?

So folks let me clear up a few things. I John Tighe have written on many blogs for many years. I am not the owner of any of them. I do not confirm or deny any one article is penned by me unless my name is signed as it is here.
So to Ron get a fucking grip you lost, get over it. Frankly I don’t give a rat’s ass what you think about me. But as a lawyer you know the threats you made were very, very close to harassment.

As someone who attended this meeting, a few observations:
1) Yes, I witnessed your altercation with Mr Kim. Yes, it was rather ugly, to say the least. If it had occurred within the meeting room it would have been one thing; the fact that it took place in the more public area of the library's hallway is another.
That being said: if you're offering yourself up as a lighning rod, you have to accept that you'll take the occasional jolt when you run across these folks. I would think an apology by Mr Kim, directed to both the library and the party chair would be in order. That seems like the best closure, to me. No harm, no foul.
2) I did not witness your alleged confrontation with Mr Connolly. But from what I just saw in your past archives, I certainly can't blame him for blasting you. I get the impression you might be giving him the same pass (possibly for the same reason), given that you don't have his name listed on your "should?" list, above? If so: Agreed.
3) Shortly after, I had the pleasure of a chat with somone that many would consider to be a member of the DFC wing of the party. As part of her welcomed take on the comments and opinions that I had offered to the assembly, she accused me (on numerous occasions) of "being behind one or more of the local blogs" that "seemed to have an agenda" that was (apparently) not to her liking. She even stated that "your name has been circulating" as such. Yes, it looks like they are "naming names"!
If I could, I would ask that you allow me to set the record straight here on your blog:
POINT: Yes, I DO publish a blog, but it is not any of the blogs that (I think) these folks are concerned about. The name of my blog is NANOBURGH, which is only partially (and rarely) devoted to issues related to Saratoga's political scene.
FURTHERMORE: I AM NOT associated, either formally or informally, with this blog (Saratoga Politics) or with iSaratoga or any other blog other than the aforementioned NANOBURGH. Likewise, I was not associated in any way shape or form with the now-gone DisUtopia of Saratoga blog.
Whether that soothes the concerns of these people; well, who cares? But I was wondering why my ears have been ringing lately: now I know. I consider it a Badge of Honor, in this case.

I can't believe anyone would take any candidature from this committee seriously. Even Larry Bulman tired to explain to them their message failed and the fact Ron Kim lost by 1500 votes just proves it.

Yepsen and Franck looked embarrassed to be there. King Turk is still on his throne and Goldberg is at his side, They even had somebody there to explain they didn't really lose by that much. They said it was a national trend and some Moron even proposed they run the same candidates in two years. There idea of reconciliation is for anyone who wants to join to take a loyalty oath to the DFC.The whole thing was surreal. After I left I heard that they discussed that anyone can replace Turk, they just have to bring John Tighe's head to a meeting of the executive committee and they can have the top spot.
I hear they have lists? Are these hit lists or just enemies of the people? Was full blown ethnic cleansing being planned for Saratoga Spring? Was that a SWAT team Kim wanted or a death squard? Was it a New Police building or a secret detention center? Why were the holding cells in the basement? Was the movie theatre planned to drown out the cries of the victims? Was Kim working with the North Koreans?
The DFC gained control of the Democratic party by organizing a fairly small number of zealots who managed to elect the party committee members as most democrats don't vote in this election. Their candidates have no chance of being elected in a general election leaving us with Republican rule for the forseeable future. Do we have to wait through another election cycle with freakin moronic Keehnniac-Kim type candidates for someone to come up with a game plan to bury these goons?
Good People: the time has arrived.
We can no longer sit on the sidelines. It is time to muster our forces and take our struggle into the daylight.
The Enenemy is clearly identified. We know who they are and what they represent. They are hell bent on power, and have achieved a small victory by gaining that power by taking over the Democratic party's committee structure.

So I would quess it was Martin and Montagnino who plan to run for a higher office this year. They also publicly stated at the committee meeting that they LIKE primaries and do not like Scott Murphy. So don't but it past them to challange Murphy
No, he was hedging his bets in the upcoming Keehn vs Yepsen tussle to run for Tedisco's seat. As if Yepsen would want anything to do with him.

Is there a video tape (library security or someone's cell phone) of the threats and public display made by Kim and Connolly? Anyone out there who can attest in writing to the confrontation so that there is a record of it. If there is a video, it should be made public.
I think charges should be filed AND there should be a public apology by both parties. What a pathetic display of immaturity - at a public library no less with children around. If I was there with my daughter and heard Kim and Connolly swearing like that in public I would have called the police.
And as said before - these two children are trying to run our City. How pathetic.
Please file charges so that there is a record and investigation. It would be interesting to see how the police dept investigates this one.
