Saratoga's decline continues.. Part 2; Saratoga Carousel, license to steal?

Well it was a bang up Fourth of July in the Spa City as an estimated 10,000 showed up for the fireworks display in the Park on Sunday night alone. The entire weekend the cities carousel was spinning away, non stop at a $1 buck a pop as the three young girls could barely hold the bulging wads of cash in their unsecured pockets.


Now before the parents of these young ladies yell “get a rope”. I am sure they are fine young girls, honest and upright. I’m not accusing them of anything. But I’m also sure that they are “connected” i.e. related too, or friends of the right people. But someone has to do it and while three employees might be overkill, I don’t have a big bone to pick with that.

Who I do have a fucking bone to pick with, is Anthony “Skip” Scirocco Commissioner of Public Works. The last year McTygue ran the Carousel it turned a profit of over $11,000. the very next year with Scirocco in charge and son Markie in charge of the receipts the profits dropped to $7,000. So what was Anthony “Skip” Scirocco's answer? He raised the price of a three minute Carousel ride, in a recession, in his home town, to a $1 buck, an increase of 100%, without Council approval I might add. He has also been trying to sneak his son into the Water Dept. while no one’s looking.

Now we all know Scirocco has a counting disorder, as witnessed here in the missing garage bag scandal, where thousands of dollars walked out DPW’s front door.


So now we have three very young women, handing thousands of dollars, cramped into every available pockets in their little hot pants. No cash controls, no accountability. And what happens to the cash at the end of the night? I know they don’t have a night deposit bag? Where does all that money go for the three day weekend? Kathy Moron’s fucking desk draw. How much of it ever makes it to the Adirondack Trust? Are you in on a scam? Are you totally corrupt or just that big of a idiot? Thousands Scirocco, fucking thousands, and that’s just one weekend


Come on Scirocco these kids could be easily robbed and seriously injured. They could be tricked or tempted. Do your fucking job Skip or get out of the way for someone who will. Your neglect of your duties constitutes negligence and I would call on the Council to seek your resignation.
