One thing Barbara Bouchey understands is survival. These charges which might sound mundane to the average reader of the blog might just hold the key to bring down this whole alleged criminal enterprise. Bouchey’s first attorney went after NXIVM in a big way. Richard Croak got the whole circus started by naming NXIVM as a cult and on June 15 he upped the ante by a filing clearly stating on the record “contains information that the shows the Bronfman’s engaged in a conspiracy to forge documents”
She recently fired Croak and this week while acting as her own pro se attorney asked for that statement to be withdrawn as erroneous and made without her knowledge or consent.[here}The judge had already allowed her to hire a criminal attorney {here}

Where Jesus taught "Love thy neighbor as yourself," these people repeatedly fall for a sociopath who rips off Ayn Rand's philosophy and Scientology, where self-interest and selfishness are deemed to be paramount. The only reason this group continues to survive is because we live in a society driven by unbridled capitalism, materialism and hedonism. Anyone who was a part of this group, especially those among the inner circle, I would have serious doubts about their integrity unless they completely disassociate themselves from this sham of an "ethical" organization.

Everything from CBI to executive success is based on Consumerism which is a social and economic order that is based on the systematic creation and fostering of a desire to purchase goods or services in ever greater amounts to achieve joy. So, if you've glanced at the Saratogian you might have seen that Joanne Yepsen's DAUGHTER wrote a letter in support of her mother today. She talked about what a great mom she had and such. When I commented that a REAL great mom would have told her not to drink and drive (She was arrested for DWI on July 4th weekend) the comment MYSTERIOUSLY vanished.
We all make mistakes. I have met joanne's daughter and she is a nice kid who fucked up. if every politicians could be caught and convicted for every occasion they drove drunk most of the state senate would be serving life without parole.

If papa Bronfman did know, why has he not done anything about it? Like take away their allowance?
If this is true, who forged the signature? Was their a notary signature on the document? If so, who signed that document?
Hope they saved some of their money if this is true, they are going to need a really good attorney as this seems like criminal charges could be pressed.
If NXIVM used the money to pay for things such as gambling, attorney fees etc, they have a lot of money to pay back.
If Bouchey did know about this she will surely have her license taken away.
It certainly doesn't make me wonder if the battle was "total fraud". It's clear that if Bouchey gives in, it's simply an under the table scenario: you scratch my back (give me my money back), I'll stop pressing the issue and keep my mouth shut about any possible legal violations. The biggest issue for Bouchey is her loss of money. It's a thieves picking on thieves scenario, not a do what's right scenario. Whatever it is, it's a total PR fuck up for the organization and it's what it deserves for its ridiculous manipulation of ethics. No one in their right mind, except their already brainwashed minions, would believe in any post facto rationalization given by them for this whole fiasco.
There are never going to leave Bouchey or anyone else the deem their enemies until the courts say NO MORE or papa Bronfman cuts his girls money off that is paying for all these legal cases.
Even if Bouchey cuts a deal Raniere has already proven he does not pay his agreements. He still owes NY state for his CBI judgment.
If Bouchey does settle will she include in the deal the other 8 woman who left with her or will she leave them with their paints down for Raniere to stick it to them, one by one?
I have known a handful of people that were involved in various capacities with ESP/nxivm. All but one or two have since disassociated from the group.
But the thing I notice about them all is that they never seem to totally pull away. They still buy into the need for having a life coach type of personality in their lives to give them direction and guidance, or they try to play that role themselves for others.
In addition, they all seem to move into new MLM "jobs", along the lines of what CBI was with Raniere. Ambit Energy, Amway, and many more.
And they all still give praise to the benefits received thru the ESP courses. Their issues that chased them away are based on some sort of minor technicalities or personal offenses, not on a rejection of the ESP BS.
There is something deep rooted in their personalities that prevents them from breaking away 100%.

Idk Barbara personally, at all, but I do know she is very smart with an excellent will to survive. So, it would make no sense for her to make a deal, bc she knows Raniere will NEVER leave her alone if she does. And if she is agreeing I'm wondering if that means she met with KR and he manipulated her into doing it. Maybe he has something on her, too. Something unrelated to NXIVM?
Could it be simply that she is trying to avoid getting sued for her lawyer and Vanity Fair's statements? Maybe she said this to her attorney and he repeated it, maybe not. But, what with all of the suing done in the past, it makes good sense to dot every i and cross every t.

I have enjoyed this blog since stumbling into a couple of ESP'ers engaging on one of my favorite activities.
