I have operated this blog for over a year now. I have also been ripped apart, mocked and made the subject of crude jokes on other peoples blogs. Some I have thought were quite funny.Hell I’m a big boy I can take it.

If the World Intellectual Property Org(WIPO) denied NXIVM claims for Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and made their 240 page manual available to the public, how can NXIVM say in their law suits that their confidentially agreements are being violated?
If Coffee and other lawyers know NXIVM has no (IPR), are the lawyers lying to the courts by continuing to put this in NXIVM claims? Isn't there legal ethics?
Another thing I noticed in both Bouchey and Dones filings is NXIVM claims there was an extortion attempt by both of them for 2 million. Extortion is a criminal offense not civil.
Has any of the NXIVM 9 been arrested? Have they even been questioned by the police for extortion? If not, are Coffee and other lawyers lying in their filings by saying Bouchey and Dones tried to extort 2 million? Do they really have any proof? If not, isn't this against the law?
I tell myself that there is nothing else that can shock me about this group until more is exposed about this man and his gang of merry men and women.
I tell myself I will not be shocked with the next headline news in the Times Union, the Post or on this blog, but I know I will be.
It appears the veil of secrets is lifting and the house of cards if teetering for Raniere. Will he leave the country in the middle of the night? Will he take the Nurse with him?

For some it appears it was that he lost millions of his member’s money in what appears to be a gambling problem.
For some it appears it was learning about the manipulated sexual relations with multiple women at the same time. His relationships had been kept a secret from most members. They must not have been "evolved" enough to handle such knowledge as many jumped ship when this was uncovered.

For some it was a combination of all these things.
If I was a gambling person myself, I would bet we have not had our last shocking news flash about this man and his odd little group.
Raniere must be spending millions in legal fees, maybe a million a month. They have Ross, Precision Development, Bronfman and NXIVM vs Bouchey and NXIVM vs Dones.
Hiring a big gun Crockett @ 825.00 per hour they must be fearful of something being exposed. They are spending more than they will ever recover, if they won.
Think of all the information about this group’s behavior has been exposed through legal documents just because NXIVM and the Bronfman sister’s law suits. What fools they are.
They would have been far better off to have let people move on with their lives. Raniere‘s Pride is doing him in. All this bad press is going to bring people out of the woodwork and his unexposed skeletons will come out of the closet.
Do you think it will be worth it for Raniere? If I was a gambling person I would bet the snowball of exposure is out of control and cannot be stopped. The Nurse must be scared for her legal life.
The flight has begun.
Raniere's whores have been flying back and forth between Albany & Vancouver, doing the advance work for the tranfer of NXIVM / ESP's headquarters from the Capital District to that city in Canada.
He will be gone from this area by year's end, leaving behind the charges and media attention that is being directed on him locally. The word is that the child is already there.
Vancouver knows little of the man and his glassy-eyed followers. He feels he will be safe there becasue of that. Unfortunatley, he might be right.
So while this attention has certainly been helpful exposing this dangerous cult and shining a spotlight on the madness, in the end all it has really accomlished is forced him to move his party to another frat house.
What exactly does NXIVM, the Bronfman sisters and Raniere hope to gain through all of these law suits? None of these people have any money. And, each time a lawsuit is filed, it gets published here and on other sites bringing bad publicity to the group and its main cast of characters. Bad press usually equals less business. Is his "flock" complete?
Why hasn't Bouchey listed her lifesavings that Raniere pissed away as a posible asset in her bankruptcy case? Could the Judge make them pay her back so she can pay her creditors? I'm not sure how the law works but can these Judges, both here and in Washington, say to NXIVM- enough?!!
I agree with Anon 4:26. The Saratoga County DA arrested nobody in the supposed extortion case. Does the extortion letter even exist? They attach many documents to their unending motions and mention the extortion letter but never attach it as evidence that these woman are actually criminals. And, if you owe them money, NXIVM... PAY THEM BACK!
Finally, the lawyers for this spiteful cult should be ashamed of themselves. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. They have let the cult wave Bronfman money under their noses and are now terrorizing victims and even scaring away potential lawyers to help represent these needy victims. I hope a smart, savvy attorney does agree to help Susan Dones pro bono and that attorney kicks their ass!
If VanFraud wants to move from Saratoga to Vancouver, it's because of two reasons. One is the obvious: the perpetual negative press that surrounds this group in this area. The other is not so much, unless you know him. Vancouver is essentially the Los Angeles of Canada, the center of its entertainment industry. He must be salivating at the mouth at all of the wealthy, good looking entertainment people - particularly women - that he could get his minions to recruit into his cult. The word is, he already has quite a few of those women from Vancouver in his cult already: Allison Mack, Kristin Kreuk, Sara Edmondson, Nicki Clyne, just to name a few.
The only problem with this whole pick up and shift from the USA to Canada idea, is that it is Canada, not Mexico. Canada isn't third world, and certainly enough people there already know about this Scientology-like cult.
Aren't the Bronfman sister's Jewish, or at least consider themselves as such? So, I don't think they'd want anything for Christmas, just Hannakah.

Yes, there are ways to get to him for certain high crimes that are worth going thru the effort of extradiction and so forth, but the many dozens of less-major criminal actions he is facing (not to mention civil suits) are less frequently pursused because of the massive manpower needed to push it thru by the US and local authorities.

For its members, NXIVM is essentially a paid social club that keeps going because its filled with mostly relatively wealthy people (two in particular) who like to talk a lot, but not actually do anything.
For its followers and inner core, its just a means to make money from a bunch of rich people. Vanfraud gives "jack squat" about ethics, changing the world, or any other "rah rah" theme.
Being a real and true leader, takes hard work, sacrifice, and a lot of time behind the scense and in the public eye on the front lines. It's not hiding behind skirts of old women or in the shadows commanding people to do things just so one can gamble, have sex, play volleyball or whatever goofy self-adulation exercise he likes to partake in.

While I am certainly all in favor of toppling the Nxivm cult and Vanguard the Chubby & Dirty Clown, I do get concerned when I read of the accusation of Ms Dones stealing the ESP names and courseware for the purpose of offering her own version of the "personal development" technology (cough).
Now, I do not know if this is true (it could be just another harassment technique from Coffey & Company) but I look forward to finding out.
If, by chance, it is true: then Ms Dones deserves less of our sympathy than she normally would. What good does it do to replace one teacher of this garbage with another?
Which comes back to a previous point I made: it seems that all of thee members, even the ones who left for whatever reason, never seem to totally LET GO.
Instead, in some cases, it appears that they do not object to 'the teachings', but they have some other organizational issue instead, like Keith's girl swapping. If that is their objection, then it seems like they just have a lovestruck axe to grind.
Plus, they all seem to stay involved, in some manner, with life coaching and personal development livelihoods.

Has anyone investigated the tax filings of NXIVM? Have they been audited? Tax information is public record. Perhaps someone can get their hands on this so-called company's financial asset information. If anything looks suspicious or shady, perhaps an inquiry can be made with the IRS to look into the company for possible tax fraud or evasion.

The fundamental purpose of all of NXIVM's teachings, from the first word uttered to the new recruit, is to foster an entirely 'new' point of view on life which requires dependence upon a group of people outside of one's self, and requires the continuous spending of money to progress through a 'school' were nobody ever graduates. The entire 'philosophy' of NXIVM is designed to create a cult, not to 'help people'. Period. If it 'helps' individuals in the short term, those benefits received serve only to increase the cult's influence over those individual's lives.
If one takes the time to read through the Rational Inquiry Method (and other) documents and articles that John has posted here, the above fact becomes so abundantly clear, it is laughable. It would be impossible to 'dilute' the teachings of NXIVM in order to remove those unsavory aspects, because that would render ALL of it worthless (if any of it can be considered 'worthwhile' anyway).
Personally, I don't think that all 'personal development' and 'life coaching' work is a scam. Many people really do benefit from taking a seminar or reading a book on 'personal growth' or having a few consultations with a 'coach.' I've done those types of things a few times in my life and and a couple of them were money well spent (but no more than a few hundred bucks, at most, over the past 20 years). Hey, if somebody gets into shape quicker if they have a personal trainer screaming at them and calling them a pussy for not doing enough situps, more power to them.
But if those seminars or books or coaches or psychics or spiritual teachers require increasing amounts of money and time to be spent for 'new' beneficial information to be learned with no end in sight and they manipulate you with the fear that if you stop spending money on and believing unquestioningly in that particular 'program' that your life will turn to shit, that means it is exploitive snake oil horseshit.
However, if somebody leaves NXIVM and they were inspired by NXIVM to start their own business to make the world a better place, that's okay with me, at face value. How far they go in recycling cult bullshit to make their living and 'improve the human condition' is another story altogether.
