Once again local Democrats went down in flames last night as two well funded, charismatic and qualified candidates lost. As everyone knows in the 20th Congressional District, Scott Murphy was sent packing by new comer Chris Gibson and Roy McDonald, also threw Saratoga Springs Supervisor Joanne Yepsen in the dust pin in the race for the State Senate 43rd District.So who is at fault here? While ultimately the candidates themselves. Murphy’s backpedalling on his heath care vote after having his offices picketed by the local goon squad moveon.org and the fact that Roy McDonald eliminated the town of Wilton’s property taxes while Saratoga Springs have skyrocketed was just to much to overcome.
And that is the key to local races, taxes and property taxes in particular. While the citizenry burns with anger, local Dems still plan new police stations and advocate the bonding of money to pay for the day to day operating expenses of the city. Anyone who questions this platform is targeted for removal from the Saratoga Springs Democratic Committee. Saratoga Springs Democratic Party chair Thilo Ullmann, seems unconcerned with the fracturing of the local Democratic committee to the point that they are unable to even conduct business for lack of a quorum. Blaming “outside forces” on the Dems loses.
Meanwhile on the county level Larry Bulman, chairman of the Saratoga County Democratic Party is worse. This back door dealing, self serving, boy king of the local Dems epitomizes everything that is wrong with the Democratic Party today. Bulman, the business manager for Local 773 of the Plumbers and Steamfitters union is more concerned with lining his own pockets and securing lucrative contracts for his union then serving the taxpayers. Bulman who was a friend of convicted ex-Senate majority leader Joe Bruno was also called to testify in Bruno’s corruption trial. Many people believed that Burno was instrumental in securing construction contacts for Bulman’s Union while Bulman made sure Bruno faced no serious competition for his Senate seat. Bruno is also noted for being a friend to NXIVM and often hitched rides in the Bronfman’s Brats Jet and some have alleged he received free EM’s from NXIVM President Crazy Nurse Nancy.Bullman has recently drawn fire for not raising money for the committee and continuing to give no or token opposition to well connected Republicans whose influence might be helpful for the procurement of government contracts for his Union. The lack of opponents for Saratoga County Clerk Kathleen A. Marchione, and Samuel J. Pitcheralle, County Treasure both Republicans are being sited as just the two most recent examples of this practice.
So basically until these two man are removed Ullmann and Bulman there will be no significant democratic opposition in this county for the foreseeable future. Who knows if Scott Johnson for whatever reason chooses not to run, Jasper Nolan Saratoga County Republican Committee chair just might pick former city dog catcher Commissioner of Public Works Skip Scirocco for Saratoga’s next Mayor. Think it can’t happen, think again. Maybe you could say that Saratoga went from the horses to the Dogs

Good riddance to Murphy. The lying SOB needed to be put down for good. He lost because he kissed Pelosi's ass and voted for the Obamanation health care disaster. Now Chris Gibson can help lead it's repeal!!!!!

Well said. The local Democrats have already chased good and competent people like Boyd, McTygue, McCabe, Masie, Millis, John Tighe and others away. What's left are union sucking old prunes and halfway insane fools in diapers.
Saratoga County Democratic Chairman Larry Bulman spoke late Tuesday night before Murphy was expected to speak with the crowd. "He will thank his supporters and he will make no apologies," he said.
Bulman is the worst of the worse! BUT, you know who is even more accountable? The Democratic County members who continue to vote for him unanimously. For Pete Sake people vote the wolf in sheeps clothing out!
The reigning fascists of the Dem party have as their #1 priority this year to hang John Franck out to dry.

And the vibe of Saratoga Dem AND the charter change 1.0 and 2.0 group is EXACTLY like NXIVM:

* If you don't follow the way, you are OUT
* If you disagree, you have no voice
* When you want to discuss facts (such as Charter), you are attacked and told you just "don't understand"
* They have published ENEMIES list ... the Dems for Change had a real "Our Opponents" list on their site.
* And, they don't share their real affiliations - Wilkes says he is a "expert on government affairs" but is really an insurance salesperson to local governments..
- Saratoga Citizens (a front group for Saratoga Dems) says that it is all about ethical conversations - remember those words???

Long time Dem or is it Long Time Dumb? Boyd is the biggest cancer this city has ever seen. McTygue was ok for awhile but his ties to Bruno made him corrupt! Masie is an odd ball and Lillis, well I don't know Millis. Matt McCabe is a good man but was always an independent. He left because of McTygue and his back door associates.
