The dust from the St Patrick’s night mayhem has refused to settle as friends of Ryan Rossley have been very verbal in their threats toward Travis M. Carroll, Rossley's accused killer. The Saratogian was forced to suspend comments on their online reporting of this story Here after several comments were published that threatened physical harm against Carroll, but later removed after complaints were forwarded to the paper. Unlike blogs and other newspapers the Saratogian refuses to monitor comments before posting them. When I asked them about this, a while back they said it wasn’t necessary and they didn’t have the staff. I say BULLSHIT. You are either incredibly lazy or you are that jaded to knowingly allow the comments to stay up for a period of time to increase traffic to your website for an increase in ad revenue. It takes 2 fucking seconds to check a comment before posting. I know I do it, from a fucking phone for Christ’s sake. You behavior as a “FAMILY NEWSPAPER’ as you like to call yourself, is unacceptable and despicable, but I digress.
All the hub-hub on this story came from the very active and verbal defense of Carroll by his attorney Gerard V. Amedio. Amedio claims his client is a victim, badly beaten in a near unreported riot in the heart of downtown. He claims his client was executing his constitutional right of self defense when he fled the scene of the accident and believed that although he knew he hit someone; he did not believe the injuries were serious.
Everyone is entitled to a defense, even me when I’m accused of shitty writing, and I might hire Amedio myself. I just want someone to ask a few questions Why if attacked, didn’t Carroll drive around the corner to the police station to turn himself in? That ones easy, he was drunk. Why hasn’t that been in any reported story in the mainstream press? Hell they were all drunk. I’m sure most got in their cars after the riot and beat a fast path to their homes. Not much of a stretch to think they would have all blown a healthy BAC that night.
So I must again ask my second question. Where the fuck were the police in all of this? These people, who I guess have no fear of the local police, were partying drinking and banging on passing cars in the middle of Caroline St. They had no fear at all of DWI, or a passing police patrol, who I can only guess were nonexistent for the later part of the evening. Just when they are needed I might add. We do know valuable manpower was diverted by the booking of poor Meredith Lickwola the 38-year-old single mom from Schuylerville who was arrested by County Sheriffs on a petty larceny warrant after calling them for help with an unwanted guest in her home. A call for help to the police that would end with her dead. All of this drama, her booking, her death in what can only be called mysterious circumstances in the custody of police took place at the same time as this moving riot on Caroline. I must add this is not the only mysterious death that has involved the local police.
The 20 year old black man was depressed and had left a suicide note that his girlfriend took to the police, hoping to get help, big mistake. Ford was found in the East Side dugout with a loaded 22 rifle pointed at his chin. Officer Chris Kuznia and Dan Mullan wrestled the gun away from Ford but what happened next has never really been made clear, at least not to me or Ford's friends. What is know is Ford died from a gunshot wound to the head from Officers Kuznia's service weapon. My point in bringing all this up is that there are still serious questions that need to be answered and at least one person agrees with me enough to have written a letter to the paper Sunday. Admitting errors like what is done in private business everyday will only strength the Department. There are no sacred cows. I believe the arrest and booking of Meredith Lickwola was wrong and took away valuable manpower. Her death was tragic and possibly unnecessary. More patrols and stronger DWI enforcement is needed.
And finally we all know more police layoffs are coming. It is not a matter of if, but how many. Time to reorganize the staffing levels, put some brass out on the streets. Saratoga Springs, NY - Stella J. Diamond passed into eternal life on Wednesday (March 24, 2010) after losing a battle with lung cancer. She was 67.
Born on August 18, 1942 in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Stella Drebitko. A graduate of Vincention Institute and Capitol Legal Institute, she was employed for many years as a paralegal and office manager for a large Washington, DC law firm.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Charles Drebitko.
Survivors include her husband of twenty-nine years, Philip H. Diamond; a stepson, Craig Diamond and two step grand-children, Allison and Megan Diamond; four nieces and one nephew, Mindy and Jennifer Drebitko, Linda Klime, Michele Drebitko-Bradway and Jason Drebitko.
Relatives and friends may call from 11 to 12noon Tuesday (Mar. 30, 2010) at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373). Funeral services will be conducted at 12noon Tuesday.

And realistically we all know Raniere is nothing without the Bronfmans. And the Bronfmans are nothing without daddy’s money. I find this ironic really. Daddy’s money comes from the Seagrams liquor empire, an empire that was built on the con that drinking would make you happy. Now the heirs have squandered the family money on a Conman who promised to make them happy.
Well ladies here is some unsolicited advice. No one or thing or even a 12inch white snake will make you happy. You have to find it from within yourself. I have traveled the four corners of the globe from palaces to shithole refugee camps. I have always been amazed at the people who happily volunteer in squalid conditions, to help people who don’t look like them, pray to the same god or even like them, but they carry on with a quiet dignity and confidence that comes from the knowledge that they doing the right think. You and your money could do amazing things in this world, but it has to come from the heart, and not some infantile emptiness because Daddy didn’t pay enough attention to you.
Many things are coming out of the Saratoga's St Patrick’s day mayhem and it reminded me of people I had know who were brutally slain and whose killers still walk the Earth today.
Sheila Shepherd a stunningly beautiful girl who used to go to the Hub back when I lived above it was killed in 1980. Her death is but a faded memory for many but I am sure her family and friends are still haunted everyday. I could not find a trace of her story on the net but I hope as more old records are digitalized her story will live on until one day the Scumbag or Bags who killed her are caught. I also remember the blistering criticism the police came under at the time and in particular the criticism that Chief Cole's father Eugene in particular faced about the handling of evidence and the general conduct of the investigation.
Pam DeVizzio was a popular waitress and bartender whose killing was particually brutal. The Saratoga Springs native was found July 6, 1988, on a Northumberland roadside, 11 miles away from downtown Saratoga Springs she was 28-year-old.She had been savagely beaten. She was last seen alive about 4:15 a.m. July 5 leaving Madame Jumel's, a popular Caroline Street bar at the time. Ironically it is only a stones throw from were Ryan Rossley was run down.
Although my focus here is Saratoga there are many other unsolved murders in the county

And maybe, just maybe this might jog somebodies memory so that justice may be done,and a killer can be taken off the street and the families might find some peace.

Another murdered young women is Christina White who was were last seen alive in or near mobile home parks along Geyser Road in 2005 Mind you, it took sheriff’s investigators nine months to find her body and the only reason they did was because a hiker walking his dog through the forest happened to stumble over her remains. Christina’s murderer continues to walk free and the sheriff’s department continues to not concern itself with the case.

SARATOGA SPRINGS — Police didn’t go looking for Meredith Lickwola last week to arrest her on a bench warrant — she called them, asking them to remove someone from her home whom she didn’t want there.
The 38-year-old Schuylerville woman, who died after she stopped breathing in the city lockup, called the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department early Thursday morning to take someone out of her house, said city police Chief Christopher Cole.
Police supervisors have taken a beating on at least one local blog and have been criticized privately by some residents for arresting Lickwola, a minor criminal, on one of the busiest drinking nights of the year.
But in an interview Monday, Cole said city police weren’t seeking out Lickwola on St. Patrick’s Day night.
“The intent was not to go to her house at two o’clock on the morning to pick her up,” he said.
Hours before Lickwola died, sheriff deputies responded to her home, and, as part of the incident, they ran a routine check on her.
The search revealed Lickwola was wanted in the city for violating a petty larceny sentence, for which she was supposed to spend a few weekends in the county jail.
And although city police weren’t actively looking for Lickwola, they weren’t going to turn down an opportunity to arrest her while she was already in custody, Cole said.
Deputies met city police halfway and the woman was processed and put in the city lockup’s sole female cell at about 1:45 a.m.
“She was normal when she walked in,” Cole said.
Lt. Linda Quattrini was the officer in charge at the station that night and performed regular checks on Lickwola every half hour until Quattrini found Lickwola unresponsive but apparently breathing at 5:47 a.m.
While emergency technicians tended to Lickwola, she stopped breathing. She was taken to Saratoga Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Male lockup cells have surveillance cameras trained on them that supervisors can watch in the station in addition to performing in-person checks.
But, because male officers aren’t allowed to perform supervisory checks on female prisoners, there are no cameras at the female cell. Most police supervisors are male.
Instead, a female officer is taken off the street every half hour to check on female prisoners unless a female supervisor like Quattrini is working.
Cameras at the male cells do not record, Cole added.
The city Police Department’s internal investigation into the case has already started, Cole said. Capt. Michael Chowske is heading it up, interviewing the police officers who dealt with Lickwola that night.
Blood and tissue tests taken from Lickwola during an autopsy will take weeks to come back, so the investigation will continue until then. The Saratoga County coroner’s autopsy of Lickwola was inconclusive.
“I’m going to wait for the medical experts to say what the cause was,” Cole said.
Criticism of police staffing on St. Patrick’s Day night is especially intense because of a fight downtown that left 27-year-old Ryan Rossley dead when another person plowed a car into him and fled the scene. No arrests have been filed in that case but are expected soon, police said.
Although the fight leading up to the 4:25 a.m. hit-and-run was apparently prolonged, no one called the police and no officer on duty spotted the altercation during routine patrols. Critics have asked why officers weren’t driving or walking in the area, since fights often occur after bars close at 4 a.m.
Cole said officers were on duty that night, at least two on foot and one in a car downtown, but several patrolmen helped break up a couple of fights earlier in front of Clancy’s Tavern and were still processing those arrests back at the station when the fights that apparently led to Rossley’s death started.
“We did have the appropriate staff level based on the amount of activity that night,” he said.
And although that block of Caroline Street is a known problem spot, officers have to patrol everywhere, he said.
“It’s one of those things where, unfortunately, the police cannot be every place at every time,” Cole said.
“For an officer to be in that place at that exact time, it’s a crapshoot.”
It’s even more difficult since budget cuts this year eliminated seven police officer positions while also cutting overtime, he said.
Cole said this St. Patrick’s Day was unusual because most of the activity happened early in the evening, and even in the afternoon.
“The bars apparently had emptied out very quickly.”
St Patrick’s began as a warm spring day as thousands flooded into the Spa city for a ‘wearing of the green”. The Police were out early and in force as the day progressed with the Police horse a friendly and reassuring presence outside of perennial St Patrick’s favorite watering hole the The Parting Glass.
St Patrick ’s Day in Saratoga has grown to almost epic proportions as it has replaced the long since discontinued Caroline Street block Party as the unofficial start of spring and the beginning of the cities tourist season. But within 48 hours Henry St would run with blood, a women would be dead in the City Police lockup and their would be carnage on the Northway.
So what could possibly have gone so wrong? Well on what should have been a busy night for DWI patrols someone decided to stage a 1:42 am raid on a home in Schuylerville to arrest desperado Meredith Lickwola,age 38. So what was the woman’s crime that would warrant a raid in the middle of the night on one of the busiest drinking nights in the state? Murder perhaps? Child endangerment, drug dealing? No, a bench warrant for failing to complete her sentence in a misdemeanor petty larceny case.
The women was dragged out of her bed transported to a darkened road by Saratoga County Sheriff’s deputies where City police met the deputies and took Lickwola to the police station, where she was processed and placed in the female holding cell. Hours later the woman would be dead in the city lockup.
Now as this theatre of the absurd was transpiring, Saratoga’s bars were winding down after a night of drunken partying. Last call in Saratoga bars has been 4am for as long as anyone can remember and the hour after closing has long been a dangerous flashpoint on Caroline St. This night would prove to be particularly violent. A fight started in the middle of Caroline Street between Clancy's Tavern and D'Andrea's Pizza. About eight to 10 people were involved in the group altercation. The fight then moved to the dirt parking lot across from Clancy's. There was someone in the group on one side and someone in the group on the other people's side who were each trying to diffuse the situation. This went on for over 20 minutes in the road and in the parking lot right in the middle of ground zero at one of the most dangerous times of the night and not a cop in sight. Where were they? Well some had to be involved in the transportation and processing of Meredith Lickwola.
The fight seemed over until a speeding car rammed 27-year-old Ryan Rossley on Henry Street near the public library. The critically injured man died 12 hours after being hit by the car. The police then were called and quickly responded and started the investigation.
At this same critical time Meredith Lickwola who had been dragged out of her bed 15 miles away at1:42 am on misdemeanor petty larceny charges and transferred on a darkened road between two police agencies, was having some kind of critical medical episode in the city lock up, an officer found her unresponsive but apparently breathing at 5:47 am .CPR was started immediately, police said. After emergency medical technicians responded, Lickwola stopped breathing and was taken to SaratogaHospital emergency room where she later was pronounced dead.
In a totally unrelated accident Friday a Ballston Spa man died following a two-car accident on the Northway near exit 15. Robert Armstrong, 47, died from internal injuries after his car broke through a guard rail in the southbound lane of the highway and rolled down a 50-foot embankment. This death although in Wilton was just out side the city limits. Three dead in less than 48 hours.
DID THESE PEOLE HAVE TO DIE?
No one knows the answer to this question but we as the public have a right to ask.
Was using police resources on one of the busiest nights of the year to stage a raid in Schuylerville for a woman on petty larceny charges a prudent use of manpower?
Whose decision was it?
Did the transfer of this woman distract critically needed members of the police force from being on Caroline St in the critical hour when the bars closed?
And finally were the police negligent in checking on their prisoner while responding to the fight and hit and run on Henry St?
We have a right to know.
Postscript: Many people on the Saratogian blogs and in City bars and coffee shops have been commenting about the families of these victims filing lawsuits against the city.
Must I remind you about the precedent that ex-police Chief Moore set when he sued the City for having his feeling hurt by then Public Safety Deputy Commissioner Erin Dywer. And let’s not forget the infamous bathroom 8, the women of Public Safety who sued the City with equal gusto over their bathroom conditions.

To the people who e-mailed about the woman who died in Police custody. Yes this is a tragic event and the police need to conduct a serious internal investigation with the results made public, and no new police station could have helped if the police simply don't do their job. My sincere sympathies go out to the families of the victim of this and the victim of the St Patrick's night hit and run. I hope that both the families of these victims find the answers to what happened and hope that someday they can come to some kind of peace with these tragic events.
Tonight’s City Council meeting was a tame affair starting off with a cartoonish presentation by Commissioner of Public Works Anthony “Skip” Scirocco explaining that both the cities water and sewer rate would increase 3% along with an additional fee of $44 dollars per user. Commissioner Scirocco was helped in his presentation by DPW Office Manager and President of the City Hall unit of CSEA union Kathy Moran (2009 salary $62,258) and another DPW blond who I’m sorry but I didn’t catch her name.
What I can say is with the heat cranked up to 90 and with the blond bombers of DPW at the microphone the air was heavy with the smell of peroxide, sweat and cheap perfume in the peanut gallery. Tip to Scirocco; turn the fucking heat down.
In Commissioner of Accounts John Franck agenda he was able to pass multiple amendments dealing with a hiring freeze a new equipment freeze {Good thing “Big Deal O’Neill” got that $80000 dollar pickup when he did}. He was also able to pass a largely symbolic motion that each Commissioner will give back 10% of his salary to the city. In an ironic twist the Mayor who has never taken a dime of the cities money for himself, preferring to donate the entire sum to charity is now faced with taking some of that money away from the charity to give back to the city.
Now if only the police could be that charitable.
The most talked about news of the day was the scuttlebutt on Broadway about the PBA’s final offer where they have generously agreed to ONLY demand a 15% pay increase spread over 3 years. Yea you got that right, 15 fucking percent and they call that a concession.
I say lay the fuckers off. They asked for it, they wanted it, now do it.

Tonight’s City Council meeting starts at 6:35 p.m to allow time for a public hearing. Nothing could contrast the differences in Council members priorities better that tonight's meeting.
In the Council meeting Commissioner of Accounts John Franck will propose hiring and purchasing freezes and a 10 percent City Council pay reduction on his own salary. And will call on the unions to do the same
In the public hearing Commissioner of Public Works Anthony “Skip” Scirocco will propose mind numbing tax increases in the cities water and sewer rates. When asked how high, the mathematically challenged Commissioner replied he wasn’t so sure as he is unable to count that high on his toes.
Scirocco said. “How the hell should I know? I can’t even count garbage bags.”*
So their you have it in a nut shell folks. One Commissioner calls for budget cuts and pay reductions and one protects the cities Unions and lobbies for tax increases. What more do I need to say?

Whatever boost Keith Raniere {Vanguard} thought he would achieve through the visit of the Dalai Lama never materialized. The only tangible effect of the visit had was to put both Raniere and the Dalai Lama under even closer scrutiny by the Press and bloggers.
Both the Times Union and the Metroland started asking why RPI and Skidmore College wouldn’t touch the event even with the prestige the coup of sponsoring the Dalai Lama would bring to their respective colleges. Bronfman herself stated “I believe Skidmore and RPI rebuffed organizers' attempts to bring the Dalai Lama to their campuses because of negative publicity about Nxivm.”
Why did the Dalai Lama back out at first and than change his mind and agree to come after all? Why did the Times Union Center really loose interest in sponsoring his visit?
The event itself brought the whole unknown history of the Dalai Lama to light. The idea that all his detractors were simply Chinese government stooges know longer held up. As this video shows
As word was leaked that the Dalai Lama’s speaking fee was raised into the seven figure range and with the lack of any charitable benefit from his appearance, people locally began to realize it was just another NXIVM scam.
But the Dalai Lama controversy was small change compared to the shit storm that was coming Raniere’s way.
In January 2010 documents filed in a lawsuit claim that NXIVM, an Albany County personal growth organization, is actually a cult whose leader is a compulsive gambler and investor who risks other people's money . A year after the visit of Dalai Lama, Raniere finds himself in the fight of his life. With his fiscal confidant Barbara Bouchey testifying against him in open court . His employment of Mossad hitman Steven Rambam to intimidate Bouchey and her friends only show that Raniere is running scared. Rumors are flying in Saratoga about FBI investigations into the fiscal dealing of Nxivm and the mystery surrounding his “Golden Child”. Politicians such as Val Keehn who once bragged of her personal relationship with Raniere, claim they never met the man.
So the question is where are the Bronfman sister’s Sara and Clare in all this?
Standing by their Man I’m afraid.

I guess you could say he was diversifying.
But he was also drawing a lot of unwanted attention to himself.
First their was the naggingsuicide of Kristin Marie Snyderage 35 who was in the midst of her second 16-day “intensive” program through NXIVM in Alaska when she apparently took her own life on February 6, 2003.
A note was found that read
A note was found in the truck that said:
“I attended a course called Executive Success Programs [also known as] NXIVM based out of Anchorage, [Alaska] [and] Albany, [New York]. I was brainwashed [and] my emotional center of the brain was killed/turned off. I still have feeling in my external skin but my internal organs are rotting. Please contact my parents…if you find me or this note. I am sorry…I didn’t know I was already dead. May we persist into the future…No need to search for my body.”
This death caught the attention of Rick Ross who is the publisher of
Mr. Ross is a Cult hunter extraordinaire. He started a campaign against Raniere, making it his mission to expose him as a conman, for his efforts he has been bombarded with lawsuits filed by Raniere, all of which have been tossed by the courts. But Ross’s writing were having an effect on NXIVM.
Their plans to build a 67,000 square foot complex in the town of Halfmoonwere nixed after more than a hundred residents signed a petition saying they didn’t want NXIVM in their neighborhood. Mr. Raniere’s past as founder of a multi-level marketing business called Consumer Buyline which was labeled a “pyramid scheme” by New York Attorney General Robert Abrams and literally sued out of existence by several state attorney generals including New York, Pennsylvania and Arkansas became well known.
Far from deterred Raniere’s plans just moved father north where one of his admirers had just been elected Mayor. Val Keehn was riding high in Saratoga Springs firmly convinced she and her Keehnacs were destined to lead Saratoga into a bright new age.Her first order of business was the elimination of her political rival Tom McTygue and then changing the City Government through Charter Change to a 4 year Mayoral term in a strong Mayor form of government that she was convinced she’d be elected too. But like most of Raniere’s grandiose plans it fell apart with Keehn’s re-election defeat along with a rejection of her pet project Charter Change. In 2005, Former NXIVM legal consultant Joseph O'Hara, was quoted in print calling the company an "extremely dangerous group", and started a "Stop Nxivm/ESP Now Legal Defense Fund"
It was in this same period of time that another of Raniere’s pet projects was rumored to be moving along. Raniere had always been known for his large appetites for money and women. Now it became the job of loyal sidekick Nancy Salzman to find the one, his sacred vessel. The women who would be entrusted to carry his seed into this world, but first it was rumored that he would have to test drive a lot of women. In a sad footnote to this story it is alleged that one of his candidates was Salzman’s own daughter. I have that from inside sources who left Raniere after they realized the man was little more that a conman. I would like to stress that the girl was consenting and of legal age, and such speculation is pure conjecture and might be the work of disgruntled ex-insiders. No one knows for sure if this “Golden Child” exists or who the mother is, but Raniere has been know to brag about the child and its ability to speak five languages at the age offive.
Raniere's next project was to buy respectability for himself, something that had been severely tarnished by his multiple setbacks and scandals.
Now it was time for his biggest plan yet.
HELLO DALAI
Sara and Clare Bronfman, the Seagram's heiresses announced that the Dalai Lama would be coming to the TimesUnionCenter in Albany, sponsored by the World Ethical Foundations Consortium, a NXIVM front. Again Raniere’s plans were dashed when as quick as he agreed to come, when learning of the groups checkered past he backed out. This time Raniere was determined to have his way.
Before this time I had always had a favorable opinion of the Dalai Lama, little did I know his past is just as cloudy as Raniere’s.
Seems the Dalai Lama has his own Buddhist-on-Buddhist problems with an open and violent confrontation with intra-Tibetan devotees of a fierce "protector deity" called Dorje Shugden, who claim that the spiritual leader of Tibet has curtailed their civil rights as part of a religious vendetta. The allegations of the Shugdenpas (as they are known) are hard to prove or disprove. But even a brief investigation provides a vivid look into what experts call "the shadow side" of Tibetan Buddhism, contrasting the tolerance and rationalism that the Dalai Lama represents globally and the theological hardball over mystical principles that he seems to play on his home turf.
And it seems the man can be brought for a price.
Keith Raniere through the Dalai Lama’s visit to Albany, thought he would be able to establish his significance, that is outside of his devotees within NXIVM. Enter the Bronfman sister’s money. How much they had to pay the Dalai Lama to change his mind and attend a much scaled down version of his talk at the 2,800-seat Palace theatre is unknown. But what is known is that at the end of his talk, Clare Bronfman announced to the audience that revenues for the event totaled $140,821 and costs were $283,570, so the consortium was out $142,749.
More than once, Bronfman apologized to the Dalai Lama, saying it wasn't good news, "in that I don't have any money to send home," referring to donations to the Dalai Lama's causes. "I apologize we have no gifts in that way," she said.
No money was raised for any charity but the Dalai Lama got his payday.
Today I am starting a three part series on the world of NXIVM starting with the Bronfman sister’s Sara and Clare heirs to the Seagram’s fortune and daughters of billionaire Edgar Bronfman Sr. and half-sisters of Edgar Bronfman Jr., chief of Warner Music. Himself a former Raniere[Vanguard] NXIVM client, Bronfman Sr. had turned on Raniere, labeling them a "cult.
So who are these women who have bankrolled Raniere and lost over 100 million dollars of Daddy’s money in Raniere’s commodities fiasco? Sara owns an apartment in the Trump International Hotel and Tower on Central Park West that she purchased for $6.45 million. Nancy Salzman, Raniere's business partner,nurse and NXIVM's president, is using the apartment, says one source, and two sources report that Salzman is also flying around in a private jet paid for by the sisters. The Bronfman’s also spent $991,578 on Salzman’s house at 3 Oregon Trail in Waterford, NY. They also have extensive real estate holding in their name and in the name of NXIVM Properties or NXIVM Properties, LLC; and in the name of Executive Success, a Nevada corporation; or in the name of Executive Housing & Properties). Including -1 Brigantine Way - 115 Grenandier Court - 3 Hale Drive - 8 Hale Drive - 9 Hale Drive - 11 Montgomery Way - 12 Wilton Court -1 Woodin Drive -All in Halfmoon Clifton Park and Waterford
They also bought about $3 million of commercial real estate on Karner road within the last couple of years, including the NXIVM Center at 455 New Karner. The seller was Eric King’ More frightening for Saratoga they are presently in talks to buy the Land Mark Adelhi Hotel.

So as one can see the Bronfman girls are Raniere’s[Vanguard] sugar mama. Without them he would be nothing but a third rate conman. But who are these girls?
Buy all accounts they were raised in wealth and splendor. Never having to work or worry about the everyday struggles of human existence they became the atypical “poor little rich girls” Although Jewish by birth they were raised without religion and struggling for Daddy’s attention they entered the expensive world of first class horse show jumping completion. But even with the best training and equipment and horses that money can buy the girls quickly grew bored with their new hobby. They were bored, unhappy and desperately seeking meaning in their lives, they were ripe for the picking.
Enter Keith Raniere’s[Vanguard] the consummate con man, he played the girls like a cheap violin. Convincing them they their lives and money could be used for the greater good of mankind the sisters broke out the checkbook like there’s no tomorrow. At last they found someone who gave them a sense of self worth and lavished attention and by some accounts sex on the emotionally neglected sisters.
Raniere set up with their money his ESP or Executive Success Programs which at first was mildly successful with many high profile people such as then Saratoga Springs Mayor Val Keehn singing its praises. Life was finally good for the sisters who could often be found on Broadway and in Uncommon grounds coffee shop.
