No decision as of yet but a lot of people
hanging around the courthouse think that things will be over by the
end of the day. The jury has selected a forewoman to oversee its
deliberations. That was expected since 2/3 of the jury are women.
The jury has requested several items from the court:- The
evidence concerning the purchase price of all of the properties that
the Plyams acquired for the Precision project. - The Plyams
last request for funds and the response they received from the
Bronfman brats.- Spreadsheets from the Plyams accountant.-
The transcript from the testimony given by Mario Marino, who used
to work on the Precision project. - The transcript from the testimony given by Greg Monaghan, the former bookkeeper for Precision.
Hard to figure out what the jury is focusing on but it looks like one
of the big issues might be whether the properties that the Plyams
purchased on behalf of the project were actually worth what they paid for
Well folks I'm in a Russian youth hostel in SoBe Miami and I have limited wifi so things will be touch and go.First The jury is out in LA and NXIVM and their lawyers were slammed in the TU today HERE. Here’s the update from yesterday’s session:
Turns out that what CrockO’Shit and the Plyams attorney did at the end of the day on Tuesday was just some technical stuff and not their closing arguments. So I decided to stick around and hear the actual closing arguments on Wednesday.Then we caught a red eye to SoBe.
CrockO’Shit gave his closing and asked the jury to award the Bronfmans $16 million in damages. He also asked that the Plyams be ordered to reimburse the Bronfmans for their legal expenses on the case – which he said were………………. (take a deep breath before you read any further)……. $11 million. And he said that figure with a straight face.
The Plyams attorney, Dennis Riley, gave his summary and called CrockO’Shit one of the biggest liars he’d ever seen. He also apologized for Crockett’s behavior during the trial and told jurors that the way CrockO’Shit behaved was not the way that lawyers usually present themselves. (He kept referring to “Crockettland” which was his way of describing CrockO’Shit’s version of reality). Meanwhile, CrockO’Shit say sat there getting redder and redder in the face. By the time Riley was done, Bobby looked like he needed to go for a 50 mile run to get his blood pressure back to normal.
The judge gave his instructions to the jury and they headed off to the jury room around 3:00 PM. In talking with others who were at the trial and listening to others who were in the courtroom, I got the impression that there will be a verdict no later than Friday. Several even predicted that the jury would be done by mid-day on Thursday.I will have the result as soon as it comes in.
I am hearing more feed back today from NXIVM's scum bag attorney in Bouchey's Bankrupcy case.
Berating and calling a Federal trustee a tool is in very bad taste.
But what the fuck everything about NXIVM is in very bad taste and why would their shysters be any different.
Till the verdict come in.

From reading this blog all week, I feel really bad for the plyams and their children.
They had to deal with this cult for over three years in litigation.
Hopefully the jury will see thru the cult facade and punish nxivm and the bronfmans for the miscarriage of justice and fraud upon the court.

I was in the court the day Jim Del Negro and Barbara Bouchey testified. Barbara Bouchey was strong, competent, clear and Crockett never tripped her up once. Rather, every time he tried to lie to the court while she was on the stand, she busted him - with dignity. Crockett opened himself to being questioned for threatening, intimidating and retaliating against Ms. Bouchey and Riley seized the opportunity to delve into this. The judge urged Barbara to expound, who was waiting for the go ahead, but when the judge gave the green light, she let him have it. He looked mortified as she put on record lie after lie told by Mr. Crockett, and backed it up with documents, dates, precise details from the very documents he laid out. Furthermore, she outlined a few of the extreme measures he has taken to destroy her reputation and livelihood. It was like Crockett was on trial, and the jury was leaning forward, gritting their teeth with disgust. When I heard the things he did to this one woman, I was shocked and outraged. (Please post the transcripts when you get them!) Furthermore, the most heart-wrenching part was Barbara's answer on what motivated her to voluntarily obey the subpoena and testify even though she knew it was likely to increase the retaliation against her. To tell the truth, to help the jury have an accurate understanding of the facts, those of course. But with sincerity and concern, Barbara Bouchey said she wanted Clare to be aware of things that might be hidden from her. Barbara's eyes and voice were full of compassion when she said this, almost like she loved Clare and was genuinely worried about her. It was moving, actually. Barbara Bouchey's performance was historic, no one has covered this and whether you personally like her, this is the truth and this needs to be said.
I am an outsider who reads this blog occasionally. I went to the courthouse to form my own opinion. Also powerful was a letter written by Sara and Clare that was projected onto the screen and highlighted by Riley. This letter made it clear that Keith was the mastermind behind the deal and the Bronfmans knew that. In fact, when Barbara asked if they wanted her help, they would not allow it, telling her that the deal was in the control of Keith and Nancy. Get the transcripts. It seems as if those girls are so brainwashed they will do whatever Keith or Nancy wants them to do.
Furthermore, when Clare and Sara's depositions were read into the record and they seemed to not know anything about anything, which was both incredible and highly disturbing. Either they were completely duped and they lost millions of dollars for a bad cause - the least of which was Crockett who has added to the depletion of their fortune and the tarnishment of their names - or they were simply playing clueless to protect Keith and Nancy. Protecting people you love is understandable, but for an attorney to intentionally set up innocent people to take a fall for a crime he unequivocally knew they did not commit, is unconscionable. Mr. Crockett even propagated lies to the media and in other court rooms with a reckless disregard for the truth. That is my opinion. Also in my opinion, his career should end. Someone should investigate him for malicious prosecution, not to mention violating legal ethics in spades. See - New York Legal Ethics EC 7-19 through 7-39. Read carefully and decide for yourself.

I love how Raniere has told the girls that *they don't know the value of money. One thing he got right, because he doesn't know it either...at least, if it's not his own. From listining to the testimony for 4 weeks and seeing evidence it appears that plyams are owed about 900k from the deal. Natalia plyam loaned about 3.5 million into the project and 500 worth of real estate.
She didn't get it all back.

Bravo 6.22...Finally A detailed account of Barbaras participation in a trial that puts her at great risk. Also, became privy to the fact that they tried desparetly to not allow her testimony.You can see now why she doesnt just shoot her mouth off to anyone and everyone who wants a statement. She believes there is a proper time and way to handle the info. and they are pounding her from every angle to silence her. Good work girl...perservere...and these bottom feeders will be exposed for who they are.
Let's hope for the Plymans to recieve all damages being asked for, Crokett to be turned in to the bar for misconduct and in order Kieth,Nancy,Kristin,Clare,Sara,Jim Delnegro to be sued for conspiracy to defraud the Plymans...and lets not forget the other people they stiffed...the hotel, the forensic accountants, The architect from LA that Clare still owes $140K (oh , but she needed to heal some ethical breaches also...according to Clare)Yes..that person was in Nxivm, but they have no shame when it comes to stealing.
If the punishment is great enough than maybe the otherwise good people( like Jim..Sara...)would stop allowing themselves to get so poluted by Keith.Jim did'nt have bloodshot eyes , a nervouse twitch, or a drinking problem before Nxivm. I am delighted and moved to hear Barbara B. being described in an accurate manner. We all owe her enormous tribute for goin up against these critters, knowing in advance they'd destroy her rep and pauper her. It's important to uphold her here on "In Decline" and elsewhere - she's our best bet if we desire to see justice served.
