Buy Bruno, my unstable guard dog a bone

And finally, if you ever wanted to see me arrested tomorrows your chance.

Well folks sometimes a person just has to take a stand. As faithful readers of my blog know I have been banned by Housing Authority Executive Director Ed Spychalsk from ever setting foot on Housing Authority property. My crime? Taking pictures of discarded mattress's and talking to residents in the Stonequist Apartment parking lot at 12noon in the open.

Ed said I was suspicious and had me served with a trespass notice. Although I believe this notice is illegal I have stayed off Housing Authority property simply because there was no future need to photograph Housing Authority property up close . Tomorrow is a different story. See the Housing Authority Board Of Commissioners is having there monthly meeting at Stonequist Apartments at 11am Jan19 2012

This is from Ed Spychalsk’s own website

The Board of commissioners meets every third Thursday of every month at 11:00 AM in the main office Board Room located at 1 South Federal Street.

THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO ATTEND ALL OPEN BOARD MEETINGS

Input, comments, and concerns from all citizens are accepted the first ten minutes of the meeting.

So I will be attending. I have e-mailed Spychalsk to ask his permission with no response as this video shows I have also called him.

He never returned my call.

So tomorrow I will take the dramatic act of challenging the little tin-pot dictator of the Housing Authority.

All in the name of Human Rights

Good luck! You're a brave one. At least you can say you asked and he ignored you. Those trespass papers, I believe in order to be arrested he'd have to file it with the court. I think if he doesn't want you there, you might just be escorted off the property. I'll see if I can find out how much water that paper holds.

Hang tough JT and keep the pressure on the idiots in charge. Glad to see that you are attending the meeting - unfortunately it is held during work hours or more would attend. Perhaps you could suggest that they move their meeting time to the evening in order to give residents more opportunity to attend the meetings. I'm sure they would love that. Also, I would think that the police department would rescind the trespass notice once it was determined that you were less of a threat than some of the actual residents (and their visitors) who harass the seniors who still live at the tower. If the police arrest you, at least we can use it as a precedence so that maybe the police will then finally do something when we call about the drunks are peeing/drinking/swearing/trespassing/littering/passed out on public property. Gotta love Ed's puppets in blue. Oh well, I'm sure poor Everett Stonequist is turning in his grave given the boondoggle that is the SS Housing Authority.

Good luck ! And am I mistaken - but was some part of the served papers not filled out correctly ? Like some parts were left blank ?

While you have your pencil sharpen and camera ready tomorrow--head down to the library's parking lot and see Sperry's constructing a 12 foot sound proofing wall. The library (actually City parking spaces)agreed to have Sperrys use three spaces for six months - but Sperry's has taken up six to seven spaces...not to mention the contractors parking for hours on end in other spaces.

It's getting tougher to return a book and attend the computer classes.
