Well Folks I made the local paper the Saratogian

Boy I'm just a popular guy.

Free to attend public meeting: Local man banned from Saratoga Springs' Stonequist Apartments by Housing Authority director isn’t banned from forum

By LUCIAN McCARTY HERE

Lucian is a great local reporter and the Saratogian and the community are lucky to have him.

Job well done! It's amazing how these dirtbag politicians use the laws and police to their advantage when people such as yourself expose them for the selfish, useless vermin that they are. Keep up the good work!

It's absolutely incredible that this little dictator Spychalski has the authority to ban anyone from and of the public housing complexes. What ever happened to due process? Can you obtain a list of the 30 people who have been banned by this nitwit?

Did you know that this guy was a certified pest control applicator? He had a license to apply pesticide. Funny, he didn’t mention that when he said he didn’t know how to handle the bed bugs. Who is kidding who? Good job board, you should be proud!

Way to keep the spotlight on the housing authority. The credit is well deserved. Lucian certainly has been a breath of fresh air at The Saratogian. Great job by both of you!

A follow up with the other people on the "banned" list, and the circumstances surrounding their bannings would cast a much needed ray of light. While it was good of the Chief of Police to let you know you were allowed on the premise, it would also be nice to know what steps the SSPD is taking to make sure officers aren't issuing frivolous notices in the first place.

A woman that used to live there had to sue SSHA to get her deposit back.....now she is no longer allowed in or around the building....this is just another reason why ED needs to go!

John, why are you giving the Mayor a free pass on this scandal..his oars are in this sea of incompetency.

They need to move stonequist to ballston spa or Schenectady. It's an cesspool eyesore for this beautiful city. I'm let my dog crap on there lawn every day.

Can't help but think as I relflect on all this SSHA stuff how similar the structure there is to what the charteristas are proposing for SS. SSHA has a Board that makes policy with 5 year staggered terms. The Charteristas want a council that makes policy with 4 year staggered terms. The SSHA Board hires a director to run the agency. The proposed city council would hire a manager to run the city. Who's to say if that charter gets passed that we couldn't end up with an Ed Spychalski with a sweetheart contract as city manager. After all if this is who the nun, the professor, and the EOC director (all of whom were well thought of in the community until now at least) thought was a qualified manager why is it out of the question that a similar group of well thought of commmunity members might get elected to long city council terms and hire someone similar to Ed the charmer...Oh, but that would never happen.....

Given the TU Editorial today, it's time for the City's Mayor to take action and request across the board resignations. Johnson needs to exercise the authority of his office and demand all present board members responsible for this disgraceful situation to resign.
I'm sorry, it's not enough to be satisfied with just calling for an audit of SSHA operations. Clearly, the Mayor is starting to appear like he's protecting the status quo here!!

Brunelle was not on board there at housing department when Spychalski was given job. Lee Weiser was the Chairman then appointed by then mayor Ken Klotz and later reappointed by Lenz. Hank K. was chairman but was replaced by Lenz so Weiser took over. It was his move to bring on Ed.
