City Council and health update

Busy day. First I have been told by a Union rep in NYC that my insurance was reinstated and never should have been cancelled. He said any back bill between my cancellation date of Feb 29 will be paid. I have received nothing in writing of course. My CAT scan is now Wednesday morning. I met with Congressman Gibson’s staff today and spoke with a rep from the Federal Department of Labor. My complaint will go on since I have learned up to ten other spouses of Skidmore Employees have been cancelled. Some have been paying out of pocket while 1199SEIU continued to receive their Insurance premiums.

Moving on The cities per-agenda meeting was this morning at 9:30. Expect a zoo tomorrow night. Anyone looking for a seat expect to arrive an hour early.
The vote on Charter change is up

Public Safety Commissioner “toothy” Christian Mathiesen continues to demand a vote on changing the closing times of the bars to 3am. This letter from the SLA clearly shows he can’t do it
Toothy of course has his own alternative reality. My friends at Saratoga Idiot's have their own post on this HERE
So check it out

I for one have been beginning to doubt his grasp of reality. I have friends who work at Four Winds and recently one of them told me “we all know Chris here” take that any way you want but I will testify under oath that’s what I was told.
Here's to you Chris.

Finance Department commissioner Michele Madigan is going ahead with her fight to gain some kind of accountability over the special police drug fund. I hear Lieutenant John Catone of the Investigation Division and Saratoga Springs Police assistant chief Gregory Veitch have both had just about enough of Toothy and Madigan .
The Council meeting tomorrow night will last till midnight. I have that early CAT scan Wednesday so I might be late with my post. Patience friends

Madigan is just a pawn of John Franck. These two are done in this city and they don't even know it yet. Madigan was suckered in to do Franck's dirty work while he jockeys for the mayors seat. His other pawn John Kauffman is equally being pulled around by his Johnny so his live in roomate Jane Weihe runs for Franck's vacated position. Mud is about to become your name. for both! Stay tuned!

I am relieved your insurance was reinstated. I give you so much credit for fighting the union and getting your insurance back. I'm looking forward to the meeting tomorrow.

If John Franck has been "jockeying" for the Mayor's seat... I say GIDDYAP! It's about time we had a Winner in the saddle.

If Kyle York thinks Frank should be mayor tha says it all. Meaning what a disaster it would be. More condos for the rich.

JT glad everything worked out insurance wise. I figured it would. Sometimes there is a disconnect between the employer, the benefits administrator (if a company uses one and a lot of big companies do) and the insurer. It gets resolved and anything denied during the lapse that should have never happened gets reprocessed.

Uhoh, Toothy and Madigan better watch out. When Lt. Catone sets a goal for himself, he doesn't let ANYTHING get in his way.

Remember when he dug up that 20 year old cold case murder? The one with no living suspects and no new evidence, that ALL involved parties were happy to move on from. He told the front page of The Saratogian that he'd have that murder wrapped up by the victims Birthday in April.

April has come and gone and come and gone again... but still nothing brewing on his end. Yeah, don't get in John Catone's way when he sets his mind to something...

Glad you've got your insurance taken care of John. It's funny how the government insists that WE buy insurance on our houses and cars, and now even health insurance, but they don't make the insurance companies have any sort of fail safe in place to make sure to protect us.

I'm not a fan of big government by any means, but I don't think it would be wrong to establish a process for termination that would keep us safe from these types of "accidents".

Thanks but my insurance company told Saratoga Hospital I'm cancelled so my CAT scan is off again.
