I never know where my day will take me. I went down to catch the Armenian Festival at the St. Peter Armenian Church in Watervliet, NY HERE. I love Armenians and have visited the Armenian quarter in the Old City of Jerusalem many times. They have great food and their beautiful, ethereal music is as enchanting as it is haunting.Anyway I checked into my Albany bureau at the daily grind after lunch and called Theresa the owner of the wonderful blog Citizen One to inquire about a provocative story she posted HERE. Seems P. David Soares campaign manager Kathleen Campbell is a bit of a bully. I’m sure she and Eileen Finneran Deputy Commissioner of Public Safety in Saratoga Springs could spend hours trading notes on boorish behavior.
So Theresa met me at the “Grind” and told me about a meeting of Albany Dems at the Polish American Club. She asked if I and Joyce wanted to go? I said will Soares be there? She said “not only Soares but Kindlon too.” I said “shit yes I want to go” so we did.
I had a great time saw Jim Coyne who looked fit and tan.{I knew him a long time ago} and many other leading Albany politicians. Most actually knew who I was. I met Kindlon for the first time. He looks every bit the Marine he is. Then I saw Soares. Soares and Kindlin both lobbying the crowd for support in the same room, priceless.
Soares looked quite strong and muscular if I didn’t know who he was I would have guessed he knew his way around a steroid injection. But he saw me and generally ignored me which is a hell of a lot better than pulling a Ron Kim. HERE.I will be writing out of Saratoga the next few days. I’ll be at the City Council pre-agenda meeting tomorrow and will cover the regular meeting Tuesday night. Till then Goodnight

Hey SID, I actually wasn't an eyewitness but there were several committeemen and a Judge who were eyewitnesses. I call that good. (I've been witness to Campbell's tirades in the past.)
Interesting to note, Campbell, who has been dubbed "Drunky McIrish" for the very first time I've ever seen, didn't have a drink in her hand at the party yesterday.
Thanks for the visit! We'll try to keep it entertaining!
