Well I’m still working out of my Albany Bureau. I have been rehashing the strange story of Jacqueline Hankle. Seems this mysterious women was researching Louise Neathway, 36 on government computers. Seems Louise was married to Hankle’s nephew.
Now it gets really out in left field here. Neathway herself has been in the news lately. She is currently jailed on stalking and extortion charges filed by Yankees GM Brian Cashman. Now Neathway has some accusations of her own. According to the New York Daily News HERE Neathway, claims she was pregnant with Cashman’s baby. She goes on to claim Cashman was so unnerved by the pregnancy he acquired a phony ID for her identification to use so she could abort his child. Wild shit.
What the Daily news isn’t reporting and what is a Saratoga in Decline exclusive there is a steroid connection in all this. Seems there is always a steroid connection with David Soares stories.
Some people believe that Neathway was targeted because they are trying to protect the Yankees. Some people believe Cashman knew that the Yankee players were using steroids and that he, basically, lied to the Feds during the investigation of Roger Clemens. One source has told me Neathway had first hand knowledge of his perjured testimony and that is the reason Neathway's bail was set at $300,000 to keep her in Rikers island to keep her quiet. During the most recent Clemens trial Cashman has been under oath again saying that he did not know the players were using steroids.
What is known is Cashman, did have an affair with Neathway. That also explains how she afforded her $5,000 a month rent in Tribeca. Cashman’s wife also filed for divorce after her husband’s affair became public. And Neathway is still rotting in a Rikers Island jail held on a ridiculously high bond of $300,000.
So now I want to know why Albany County DA David Soares let Jacqueline Hankle seemingly off the hook after she was charged with computer trespass, a felony, and official misconduct for researching Neathway in the state fingerprint system. Like I said folks you just can’t make the shit up.

Has anyone looked at Soares lately? Looks to be likes he's been hitting the roids too.
I'm pretty sure there was an older woman working at tax, I think, who tried to help a friend whose husband was hiding income during some kind of legal dispute, and she was heavily prosecuted because State government really wants to maintain confidentiality of those records. So this non-prosecution of this Hankle woman is not the norm. There are other examples that have been in the news in recent memory.
This is another case of a civilian being allowed to use government resources not generally available to the public, to aid in the prosecution or persecution of a loose cannon. The loose cannon in one case is an ex-cult member, in this case an ex-girlfriend. In both cases a DA could've used the resources himself, but that would leave people wondering why he was involved at all with these issues.
I feel bad for this "stalker" woman, it isn't hard to make her look crazy, as she may well be, but she isn't that much of a threat to the general public to warrant this treatment. She hasn't got a friend in the world , just some blogger shining a little light in dark places.
OK, JT, while you're hanging out in Albany, Saratoga continues to decline. Big Preservation foundation fundraiser at the Casino the other night and I'm told NO AIR CONDITIONING. Brutal. Also a tour of the Casino and Park offered by the Historical Society this week. Easily over a hundred people showed up. And what did they see as director Parillo lead the tour over to Spit and Spat and then back to the casino. Well, empty flower beds with a few weeds growing, and in the stream that runs at the foot of the hill lots of dead grass clippings from mowings decaying and clogging it up and in the midst, belly up, a rather large dead rodent. Paint is peeling off the window frames on the side of the casino near the trout pond. Nice look at the park those people got.
Who would want to have a wedding in an un-air conditioned building and have their picture taken amongst the weeds? What's Skippy waiting for? August to get this place cleaned up?
I concur Skippy is a one man nightmare for the well being of the city. I will continue to spotlight him. But as long as the cities dems are still in bed with him nothing and I mean nothing will change. Skip is an idiot I'm not sure he even understands his job. Without the Dems who refuse to run anyone against him Skip would be working in Grasso's Italian ice truck.

Yikes..now it's common knowledge that this girl is not right in the head. You know that right? She's been in and out of the court system for over a decade. You honestly think she's in jail over some bizzare conspiricy theory concerning the yankees?? Lol..you can't be serious. Did you do any research? The Hankle women was most likely researching the girl because her family was being victimized. In fact, I'm pretty certain that's documented..which is why she was probably not charged..believe me, people get away with much worse! The strangest part of this story is the stalker, the things she did, how many people she stalked accross such a wide area, and how she for so long played her victims and their families against the authorities..Someday you may see this story in the movies..
Jackie Hankle was charged and pled guily to two crimes. Which were not enough considering she looked up Neathway, her mother, her step father more than 200 times. That would equate to 200 Felony counts if Soares was doing his job correctly, would it not? I also think there may have been a connection to Bruno and Hankle. This woman has been rail roaded for sticking up for herself, her rights and staying strong.
