Next We have Weller on Crime in the Terrace on Jefferson St. I have to go cover the meeting about the Ballet at the Hall of Springs today at 4:30 and will then be going to the ballet. Today July 20 is my Birthday. I am feeling much better this year than last when I had an undiagnosed malignant Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST) eating me alive. Things are good and I am grateful and thank you all for your support. I will have a new story Sunday night and will be posting your comments as always. Till then goodbye and see you at the track,ballet and the Victoria pool

Thank God we don't have the problems the other housing authorities have. No, we have a machete wielding maniac who walks the streets. And a police force who could less. You want more police presence in Jefferson, put up a Dunkin Donuts there. You won't be able to get rid of the cops there then

Yea more bad information from Al Collucci no doubt. It was a knife, not a machete. Stupidity at it's finest.
Instead of the SSPD sending a representative to the meetings, why doesn't our city council member(s) visit once in a while, at the very least.
This particular meeting shows me some very disturbing messages.
We have a chairman who seems to be unfamiliar with Roberts Rules of Order. Will the SSHA succumb to Weller's Rules or will somebody step up to the plate and pitch this guy a couple of fastballs very close to his noggin, which might put him on notice that "we are coming to get you the hell out of here?"
Ken, you are heading in the right direction. I hope Al can start speaking up, as well. Please continue.

I'm not sure hwta meeting you were at but Al Callucci hit the key to the entire problem. The Authority is not working under it's bylaws. He spelled it out greatly. He was very vocal about the Situation at the Terrace and has stuck his neck out a mile for the people there. It appeared to me that his head and voice was where it should be when he challenged Eric about his comment that the problems at the Terrace were PETTY GARBAGE. I'm begininng to think whatever Al does there are some people who will criticize him. Also the Terrace Group what and how he is addressing the problem. Ken did produce some reolutions but some may go nowhere and possibly were designed to go nowhere. If Al wasn't getting the job done why did Ed's supporters dream up accusations against him?? He is their biggest nightmare. Whomever thinks otherwise has to be an empty head!!
Here's your answer to that. Fabrication. He's creating problems with his own imagination. It's obvious there are police calls but he talks of vigilante tactics by he and another Terrace resident. That is reckless and irresponsible. That is going to get those families hurt.
If creating a Committee to give a voice to the many problems the residents of the Terrace is vigialtie tactics you are sorely mistaken. People's unified voices can create the changes not only needed at the Terrace but in the SSHA as well. You must be watching too many Charles Bronson Death Wish Movies. I was present at the meting and Al dealt with facts and documentation including the bylaws of the SSHA. The drug problems, the sewer problems, the mold problems, the intimidation and lack of respect for residents and total neglect of the Terrace in general are fact not fabrication.
FINALLY we are seeing some tough action from Ken and Al. Ken is encountering temporary headwinds from the corrupt Old-Timers. As for Al, he'd get more done if he could edit his info so as to speak less and say more.
I got a dictionary and looked up pompous ass. There was a picture of Weller.
I have been critical of Ken and Al and their lack of backbone on this board but I want to congratulate them on speaking out at the last Board meeting. What a crock that Lillian didn't get the email but Ken handled everything very professionally. Now it is imperative that they keep up the heat. A vote on bringing the salaries to the Council should have been under old business since they came up with the same "I didn't see the memo" crap last month as an excuse not to vote on Madigan's request and put it off I thought til this meeting at which point they have now used the same lame excuse to postpone again. Go for it in August, Ken, and keep Al awake to watch your back or at least second your motion! You, too, Al keep up the good work we saw at the last meeting. You guys could turn out to be our heroes after all
